1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree upkeep and elimination in the metropolitan environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capability to lift large loads and therefore minimizing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Cypress Supplies has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any contamination.

All tip trucks have purpose built canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing airflow and minimizing dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have become a crucial method in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Cypress Supplies root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capability.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety function, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to minimize manual handling injuries.
