We have certified dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to remove big trees in challenging positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch using our fleet of wood chippers.

Our series of stump grinders| means we can easily remove big challenging stumps from websites with restricted access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

Our Equipment

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our day-to-day activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree upkeep and removal in the urban environment requires operators to continuously work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further ensure the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and improved safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to lift big loads and therefore decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Cypress Supplies has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that reduces any pollution.

All tip trucks have function constructed canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have ended up being an important technique in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Cypress Supplies root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to permit the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers
