Our qualified and experienced arborists together with our fleet of specialized plant and equipment will prune or eliminate your tree/s in accordance with Australian Basic AS 4373-2007 Pruning Amenity Trees, Workcover Tree Work Code of Practice and WorkCover Work Near Overhead Powerlines Code of Practice.

We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate large trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into multiple-use leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

Our range of stump grinders| means we can quickly eliminate large hard stumps from sites with restricted access. We also have root cutters and personnel experienced with the setup of root barriers.

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our everyday activities consisting of;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and removal in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continuously work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we perform this work in the safest possible method. To further guarantee the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP satisfy the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes performing your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater performance and improved safety in removing trees.

With their capacity to raise large loads and for that reason reducing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Cypress Supplies has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function built canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and reducing dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become an important method in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.

The Cypress Supplies root cutter is specifically designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capacity.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the latest safety functions and satisfy the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety function, we guarantee that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to decrease manual handling injuries.
